Job Details
Three kids broke into a chapel and vandalized the building. While there, they discharged six fire extinguishers into every unlocked door in the building including the chapel, cultural hall, hallways, classrooms, kitchen and bathrooms. We began the vandalism cleanup by HEPA vacuuming all surfaces and then wet cleaning all areas with a mild soap/water detergent. This was per the manufacturer’s recommendations.
Unique Circumstances
Due to the amount of people that use this building, relocation/cancellation would be incredibly difficult, if not impossible. We needed to have the vandalism cleanup completed by the end of day on Friday. The local FM group also requested to use their existing carpet cleaner for the carpets and upholstery throughout. This then forced us to move our deadline up one day, allowing enough time for him to complete his work. We also now had to coordinate work with another party.
Customer Satisfaction:
Local leaders and FM group were highly satisfied with the vandalism cleanup. No meetings/activities were cancelled due to this event, in fact, very few people were ever actually aware that anything occurred. Not only were the final results of the highest standard, but the property was treated with respect while it was in our control. Crews were advised to not use inappropriate language or play music while on-site.
